Thanks to the fantastic players of Parallel Kingdom dogs will be saved, cats shall be fed and hats most certainly were bought!

Just a week ago we launched the Save a dog, Feed a cat, Buy a hat campaign which enabled players of PerBlue’s game to purchase premium virtual objects to raise money for either the cat charity KittyKind or the dog charity 4 Paws for Ability.

Nearly 1000 virtual hats were bought in just a week, something which we have to thank the generosity of the awesome players of the game Parallel Kingdom.

As part of the campaign we challenged players to show their support for their favourite pet, cats or dogs. The number of hats purchased, number of tweets and vote were tallied up. It was extremely close, at times barely a whisker between them and support for cats and dogs never tailed off.

However there has to be a winner but in this campaign there certainly are no losers.

And so without any further ado.. the winner is dogs!

However cats won the award for best fan pictures, a particular favourite from everyone at PlayMQ was sent in by Twitter user Keith Pirnia shown below:
